- Description: ESA is looking for your ideas on how the ISS may be used to prepare for human exploration beyond LEO
With the International Space Station (ISS) planned to be extended until at least 2020, ESA’s Directorate of Human Spaceflight announces a Call for Ideas (CFI): ISS for Exploration. The main aim is to collect ideas and concepts, from scientific experiments to technology demonstrations, on how the ISS may be used from 2011 in preparation for human exploration beyond Low Earth Orbit. These ideas might be considered as candidate options for further broadening of Europe’s ISS Utilisation Programme and for future international collaborations.
Submission of Ideas due: 26 November 2010.
