In 2025, the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC) celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking five decades since its founding in 1975. The IAA-CSIC is part of the Spanish Astronomy Infrastructure Network (RIA) and plays an active role in the Calar Alto Observatory (CAHA), one of the network’s Singular Scientific and Technical Infrastructures (ICTS).
