The Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre (OAJ) has opened the Call for Proposals for Semester 2019B (1st July – 31st December, 2019). The deadline for proposal submissions is March 15th 2019 at 23:59:59 CET.
This call offers the use of T80Cam at the 80cm JAST/T80 telescope. T80Cam is a panoramic camera with a large-format CCD of 9.2k x 9.2k pixels providing an effective FoV of 2 square degrees (1.4deg x 1.4deg). It hosts a set of 12 narrow, medium and broad band optical filters originally defined to conduct the J-PLUS survey (http://www.j-plus.es) whose first ~1020 deg² of data have already been released in the DR1 (https://archive.cefca.es/catalogues).
The OAJ open time for Semester 2019B amounts to 308 hours, split in Regular Programs and Large Programs. In addition, Director Discretionary Time is continuously open at a rate of 40h/semester.
