CTA Telescope Coordinator

The CTAO is seeking for its Project Office in Bologna (Italy) an experienced CTA Telescope Coordinator to provide coordination and leadership in the area of the Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes. These will be delivered as in-kind contributions (IKC) by participating institutions, based on IKC Agreements between CTAO and each telescope provider. The first construction phase foresees up to 74 telescopes at the CTA-South site in Northern Chile and the CTA-North site on La Palma (Spain). Prototypes of all telescope types including cameras exist and have been tested at various locations, with one Large-Sized Telescope in the commissioning phase on La Palma.
