Calar Alto Observatory announces the Call for Proposals for the Autumn Semester 2016 (July 1 – December 31, 2016) for the 3.5m and 2.2m telescopes:

  • For the 3.5m telescope, 33 nights are offered for Open time.
  • For the 2.2m, besides the option of buying observing time, for this semester free observing time is also offered. Guaranteed time and a minimum of 44 nights for Open time is available.

The deadline for submission is March 31, at 23:59 CET.

Proposers coming from European countries others than Germany and Spain are kindly asked to apply via NorthStar/Opticon.
