Creemos que, despu\u00e9s del inicio de las operaciones cient\u00edficas de GTC y de los nuevos desaf\u00edos futuros, es el momento de organizar un segundo encuentro.Las respuestas a los interrogantes astrof\u00edsicos actuales pasan por el desarrollo de instrumentaci\u00f3n altamente sofisticada que requiere planificaci\u00f3n a largo plazo y grandes recursos humanos y materiales gestionados por iniciativas que a\u00fanen esfuerzos de varias instituciones.Espa\u00f1a ha realizado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os un serio esfuerzo en este sentido (GTC, ESO, ESA) pero sigue habiendo un desfase notable entre la investigaci\u00f3n astron\u00f3mica a nivel observacional y te\u00f3rico con respecto al desarrollo de instrumentaci\u00f3n. Ahora, la incorporaci\u00f3n a ESO y los grandes proyectos futuros (ALMA, E-ELT, Cosmic Vision) plantean nuevas exigencias.\n<p>El objetivo del workshop es reunir a los grupos cient\u00edficos y a las industrias del sector para exponer sus necesidades y proyectos, y compartir experiencias. El workshop pretende tambi\u00e9n servir de eco para concienciar a las agencias financiadoras y a la comunidad astron\u00f3mica en general sobre la necesidad de impulsar decididamente el desarrollo de instrumentaci\u00f3n en Astrof\u00edsica y las herramientas de tratamiento de datos asociadas. La formaci\u00f3n y reconocimiento de una comunidad de astr\u00f3nomos instrumentistas ser\u00e1 fundamental para que Espa\u00f1a este a la altura de su posici\u00f3n en la Astronom\u00eda de las pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico Organizador:\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>\u00a0D.
